I was very pleased with the protection this jacket provided in breezy, yet sunny conditions. Great as a light windbreak and the inner lining is very soft. Outer layer is good for a very light rain, perhaps. Two very deep chest pockets with zippers. Sleeve length was good for me as it fully protected my wrists. I wore this jacket when most of my companions were hiking in short sleeves. Enough of a wind that I did not get too hot. I ordered my normal size, medium, and fit is very snug, but that is good when wearing under a backpack. I would only be able to wear thin, fitted short sleeve shirts under this jacket. When I did take it off, it stuffed into my pack very easily. It could be stuffed into its own pocket if desired. It seems well made.
I have used this on a couple of long hikes of several hours with light rain and sleet. I stayed dry. I normally wear a size medium in tops but got the size large. It is plenty roomy for me to wear a heavy fleece or light puffy underneath for warmth. Seems to be a durable jacket. I like the fit and look of it on me.
This is a nice sturdy spoon for backpacking. I tried a plastic folding spoon but it was a little bit too wobbly for me. This works great. It is a nice metal spoon with compact size and light weight. Folds easily.
Nice light weight T with slim fit. I plan to use this for sleeping while backpacking in summer months. The fabric is very soft. In spring and fall it works as an under layer when I don't need full length sleeves but just want a little more warmth.
I have been very happy with this tent, my first backpacking tent. Carried for a week long trip and several 2-3 day trips for a total of 19 nights since purchase early this year. Have slept in it with rain, wind, and temp to freezing. Tent is warm when it is cold, not overly stuffy when warm. It has kept me and my gear dry. Easy setup and take down. When I have to pack it up wet, the tent dries very quickly when set up in dry weather.
I put the pole in an outside pocket of my backpack. The tent, fly, stakes, repair kit, and footprint fit nicely in a 6 liter Osprey StraightJacket Compression Sack. I use the flycreek footprint. Tent seems durable for the light weight materials. Zippers are working well. I would not recommend this for 2 persons. It is a tight fit for me and my backpack, but everything fits inside the tent. I leave only my shoes in the vestibule. Headroom is sufficient for my height of 5'6", not spacious.
