Purchased the footprint as the Copper Spur Hv Ul2 floor material is thin and fragile. It fits the dimensions of the Copper Spur perfectly. Best way to setup - lay out the footprint first, attach the poles to respective corner grommets, this actually locks the footprint onto the poles and keeps it from falling off, then add the tent or rainfly. The footprint makes it much easier to set up the tent rainfly in the rain, once the rainfly is set up, crawl inside of it, put up the tent while protected from the rain and keeping tent interior dry.
I have been borrowing this tent for the past year and loved it enough to buy my own. A super-light, freestanding tent, with plenty of space for one to sleep, sit up, and move around. The two doors are awesome and there are pockets for storage. Fast and easy to set up. I have used it for multi-day backpacking trips such as, PCT sections and on Mt Hood. I did also purchase the footprint as the floor material is thin and fragile.
