The mini mo is great. I tested it out on a recent thru hike on the wild azalea trail in Alexandria, LA. As with most jetboils it boils water crazy fast. The simmer function is nice especially for dehydrated foods that take a little longer to rehydrate. Only thing that the mini mo lacks is the ability to store your gas can inside the jetboil cup like other models. I'll be hiking the JMT in California in a couple days, I definitely feel I've made the right choice in stoves
