I you have power; a person requires four things. A refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster oven and water. Without power; a MiniMo, MH Freeze Dried, bottled water and Jameson. Lemon, cloves and honey, a bonus.

The mini mo is great. I tested it out on a recent thru hike on the wild azalea trail in Alexandria, LA. As with most jetboils it boils water crazy fast. The simmer function is nice especially for dehydrated foods that take a little longer to rehydrate. Only thing that the mini mo lacks is the ability to store your gas can inside the jetboil cup like other models. I'll be hiking... Read more

Used this minimo on a weekend camping. Boiling water was so easy and fast! Cooking noodle soup too. The only thing was when the water boils, it spilled over the pot and flame partially burned the plastic base. I wish i could still return this and exchange for a same style.
Great jet-boil stove, wide enough to cook in and allows simmer on the low end, good if you are looking for versatility in a canister stove. My only complaint is plan on having an alternate starting option (match/lighter) as the igniter is notoriously terrible and stopped working within a week. Otherwise a great stove.
