I have used the MSR Whisperlite stove for years. When the International model came out I switched over to it. I just purchased the Universal model, because I find that I am using a canister stove more and more now. I haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it will work well, as all of my MSR stoves have. The only thing that I can find fault with is all of the small parts you need to haul along to convert it over to liquid fuel. I can just see myself trying to convert this thing over in the freezing cold and losing pieces in the mud or snow. Personally, I think that they could have made the system much more foolproof by just adding a second fuel line designed to connect to a fuel bottle. I don't know why they included two replacement orifices, when the "International" model only has one? If you are going to all the trouble of carrying a liquid fuel bottle and pump, how much more can a additional fuel line weigh? Personally, I think that this stove is a design failure for MSR and that it won't be on the market for long.
I've use MSR cookware for basecamp and backpacking for years and I love my "Blacklite" sets. I bought this skillet thinking it would nest with the Ceramic 2-pan set, like the one I use with my "Blacklite" pans, but it doesn't. It is about an inch larger. It also did not come with a protective bag, which was disappointing for the price, but neither did the Ceramic 2-pan set. For the money, MSR should really put a little more thought into how they market their cookware.
Even though I got a tremendous deal on this item from Campsaver, I must admit that I am very disappointed in the product. You get two pots, but only one handle and one lid. Also, the rubber piece on top of the lid, designed to hold down the handle and to remove the lid, was already broken when I got it. A very bad design. For the price, MSR should include two lids and two handles, because the handle is very difficult to remove once attached. MSR obviously designed this system with the concept that the user would only use one pot at a time on a single stove. I'm not impressed.
