This is a great trekking shoe. Plenty wide in the toe box and supremely cushioned in the sole. Takes some getting used to due to the shape of the shoe design and the extra padding throughout, but is very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Seems Better for Hiking, not Trekking

This is moderately-priced boot that appears to be well constructed. The sole has a lot more flex than a trekking book (like the Trango), so probably better suited for hiking. Unfortunately, the toe box seems a little narrow and consequently the boot feels like it constricts the top of the foot. It helps that La Sportiva uses European sizing, with half-sizes available, so there are more sizing choices. However, it's too bad that La Sportiva doesn't make their boots in wide sizes.
