I'm used to wearing heavy duty shoes at work in a wet climate. These are refreshingly light and waterproof (even when blasted by a hose). There was no break-in period needed either, wore them the first day for 9 hours of walking on a combination of terrain: mud, rock, logs and blacktop and had great traction all day.

I recently used this jacket for a winter camping trip in Rocky Mountain NP. From snowshoeing in high winds the to sitting around the fire in 15 degree temps, I was able to stay dry, comfortable and warm.
