Just used my new rope outside for the first time at Blue Mounds State Park in MN. It worked well on the hard quartzite cliffs and was used as an anchor, for rapelling and for top rope climbing. The sheath is very smooth, which allows it to slide nicely through anchors and avoid catching on hindrances. It also glides easily through a belay device. It is thick enough and textured to have a nice strong grip as a belayer. The color is bright and fun--almost looks coral from a distance-- and it's easily spotted on a wall. My favorite little feature is that the ends are covered in a bright yellow plastic tab which keeps it from fraying and also makes the ends really easy to spot when coiling or tying in. Plan to use this rope mostly for outdoor top-roping & weekend use. Good all around rope! Really happy with the purchase.
