Did someone break these in for me?

Bought Local - I can't justify using someone's time in-store then ordering online to save a buck.

Being new to hiking and these being my first pair of hiking boots I expected the worst. I heard so many horror stories about blisters and foot pain until boots are broken in - I didn't have to go through any of it.

Big Bag Packs Small!

Living in Texas most would think I'm crazy for buying a Zero-Degree sleeping bag - but for me anything below 70 and it's time to put on extra clothing! I'm sure I'll get a lighter bag for the 80-degree summer nights but for the rest of the year this bag is perfect.
6' tall - I have plenty of room to work with. I can move my feet and roll over inside the bag with no problems.

I'm just getting into hiking/backpacking and was looking for a low-priced tent when I stumbled upon this gem.

Camping Location: Five days in Caprock Canyons in the Texas panhandle
Camping Conditions: One night of light rain and 2 Days/Nights with high winds (gusting to 35mph). The rest of the trip was perfect.

Coming in under 5 pounds in my pack and an easy set-up/tear-down - taking only minutes
