These fox river socks have kept my feet warm in below zero temperatures during extended time outdoors. They are not itchy at all, very soft, comparable to a soft cotton sock, even though they have zero cotton. Definitely recommended.
I have tried many different shoes and boots and couldn't find any that were comfortable to actually walk and hike in. I have made my own minimalist footwear to solve the problem. Life changed and I needed warmer footwear faster than I could make it. I again tried a few different brands, all of which were more expensive than LEMS. I finally decided to try the LEMS boulder boot and emailed LEMS customer service to help with picking the correct size. I ordered a 41, but next time I will try a 40. They seem a bit too long, but the good thing is because of the design, I can lace them tighter and they work. I have walked and hiked almost 100 miles since I got them and they are holding up better than other past boots and shoes. I definitely recommend you try them.
