i was looking for a minimalist boot that I could strap up when i needed to get work done. I tried the Vivobarefoot Hiker as it was onsale on Amazon. It came too small and was very rigid. I didn't get a larger pair as they are $190 and I was afraid the lugs would rip off.

I rarely write reviews, but the Lems Boulder Boot deserves one.
I walk barefoot whenever I am not at work or not backpacking. The Lems boulder boots are on my feet for the times I must wear shoes.

These boots weigh less than my New Balance running shoes. I have only been on 3 hikes in them so far (4 miles, 8 miles, and 11 miles), and they feel great. LOVE this boot. So comfortable. It's minimalist but not so much that you feel every sharp pebble. I wouldn't wear it for serious hiking but for general around the lake and gravel stuff it's awesome. Also as every day. I love it! Packs down to nothing!
