I carry this bag when I ski. It is the right size to put my hydration bladder, snacks and sandwich for the day, and extra clothing if it gets hot in the afternoon.
The waist straps and side pockets are a bit bulky, but they big enough to stuff an energy bar and sunscreen for easy access while you are sitting on the lift.
I like the zipper for easy access to the bladder.
