Me - 5’11, 165 - slim athletic build, 6’2” wingspan 40” chest. The size medium fits perfect. Excellent mobility and range of motion. Just the right amount of room for thin or medium base layer underneath and svelte enough to slide under a fairly fitted shell. Good length in the torso and sleeves, thumb loops are excellent, soft and discreet, easy to keep out of the way if you don’t want to use them. Hand pockets are very spacious and double as quality core vents. Chest pocket easily holds phone. Collar is very high and quite fitted in a good way, though it could get a bit tight if you have a larger neck. Bottom line - light and breathable but very warm, looks great in a fleecy sort of way.
Me: mostly recreational runner, prefer to go faster and shorter for runs with a somewhat dynamic style if that makes any sense, or long for hikes. 5'11, 165 - foot size is generally 10-10.5. Got these in 10.5 in the fit is spot on. Would say toe box is medium wide, lateral support is great on side-hills and corners and heel hold is excellent (and my heel is pretty narrow).
Only put 20 miles on them so far, but no obvious durability issues. Grip is excellent so far, mostly on wet pavement, snowy parking lots, and firm dirt to squishy mud. Haven't gotten them on any steep loose dirt/gravel yet, but suspect they will be strong. For a trail shoe they handle road/pavement quite well.
For me these strike a really nice balance between a bit of protection/cushioning and a lightweight, flexible feel that allows your foot to sense and move with terrain.
Only con is that the speed laces make it a bit tricky to dial the lace hold on different parts of the shoe - sort of requires a uniform lace tightness. They are quick and convenient tho, and it is really nice to have them tucked away when the shoe is all the way loose so it can be used as a camp slipper without the laces flopping around
Wonderfully constructed and tailored jacket - attention to detail and fit exceed most other top-of-the-line shells. I am 5'11 165 and the medium fits perfectly - not too baggy, not too tight, totally free range of motion. Unfortunately I was looking specifically for an unpleasant/wet weather ski jacket and the hood is not quite large enough to fit over a ski helmet while the collar is zipped closed.
I sadly had to return this jacket, i am looking out for another me jacket with their larger super alpine hood.
Can only comment on the initial fit, feel, and construction of the bonatti pro. I am 5'11 165lb with relatively long arms and slightly broad shoulders for a skinny guy. I find the medium to be a great fit - trim through the torso without being binding; long enough to avoid riding up from under pack waist straps; slim fitting arms that still allow for sleeves to be rolled up. Movement is generally unrestricted with a nice stretch panel built into the shoulders and sleeves long enough to not ride up when biking or reaching overhead.
Hood fit is excellent, easily goes under a bike helmet - turns with head without restricting movement or vision.
Fabric is quite soft for a fully waterproof lightweight shell, though still a bit more membrane-y feel than a super light softshell obviously.
Super light and packable, easily stuffs into double-zip chest pocket - down to the size of a bulgy wallet.
