The only utensil you need for the trail (well, plus a pocket knife). Folds up to fit in your cook set and long enough handle to get into the corners of your dinner bag.
I did a head-to head test boiling water in the HE, a flat-bottom titanium pot and a flat-bottom aluminum pot, all with the same amount of water, on the same stove - I actually repeated the test on 3 different stoves to see if the burner shape made a difference. The HE ALWAYS boiled faster by at least 30 seconds than the others, so it saves fuel. Adequate size. Substitute your own fleece bag for the mesh bag to keep contents warm after heating.
I got a hammock a few years back that came with steel 'biners for attachment to the tree straps. Replacing them with these lightweight mini-biners saves almost a half-pound in my pack. I also use one to hang my pack (with a pack cover) at night from a paracord wrapped around a tree, to keep the pack off the ground and out of my tent.
