I am 5'4" and 135 and purchased a size 10. The fit in these pants are comfortable and I feel good wearing them. I usually wear a size 10. The material is not very thin but does dry relatively quickly. The material is not as thin as you might think but it does dry relatively quickly. I wear them for hiking and casual wear.

Only wore a couple times on area day hikes. Seems to have roomy toe box. Sturdy. We will see how it does on a backpack trip.

Patagonia Nano Puff Hoody - Women's
These jackets are so lightweight it does not seem they would provide warmth, but they really are great for backpacking and do keep you warm -with a fleece layer underneath - in the 40's and mid 30's. Packable and lighweight. I can't use down so I was looking for a down alternative. This jacket worked very well backpacking.

I never had much luck with the strap on traction devices. These have worked great on hard pack and ice, and comfortably fit my narrow, high arch feet.
