About 15 years ago, I bought what is now the Resolute Parka in green when Canada Goose was known as Snow Goose of Canada. I still have that parka and it has served me quite well! The coat is still in good shape and I will hand it down to a family member. I was a little afraid that a new replacement may show some degradation in quality as Canada Goose has gotten quite popular and big within the last few years. It has become somewhat of a designer brand. I will say that the new Snow Mantra I received is of excellent quality and every bit as well made as my original (and three-times the price I paid in 2000.). Some of the minor annoyances of my previous coat have been addressed with the new one. As for the coat in general, it is no joke! If you are the type that gets cold easily like myself, this coat will keep you blissfully warm. It weighs about 7-8 pounds! It's a beast but functions perfectly! It has been wildly popular with friends prompting a few to buy some Canada Goose parkas of their own. It is almost insanely expensive but really worth it's weight in gold if you get cold easily. It can bake you if you become too active in it and it certainly doesn't pack down well but it was never advertised to do so. I looked at alternate options before buying another CG parka. It's so hard to compare coats with all the technical fabrics, claimed fill powers, temperature ratings, etc. I chose another CG because the previous one worked brilliantly for 15 years and it seems to be a commo...

This jacket is exactly what I was looking for, when I travel to the east coast and Midwest during the winter. I no longer have to worry about being warm enough, regardless of the temperature. The customer service at camp saver was excellent.

It's not a jacket, This is a equipment.
I'm living Toronto Canada, actually i don't need more than TEI 4 Canada goose, you know what i'm saying?
Toronto is not cold country, anyway i need a high quality jacket and fur.
I worried about fur quality, but now everything is perfect.
Don't hesitate to buy this jacket.

The snow mantra is real coat--large, warm, and a bit bulky. Some have complained about the weight. Seems fine to me, although I have had co-workers try it on and many agree that it is to heavy for them. Bottom line, if you want light, this is not the one for you. The ruf is removable and the rear flap zippers make it nice in and out of the car. It is bulky however, and it makes it a bit more difficult to look over shoulders changing lanes and the like. One adapts to this coat, and the warmth is ample reward for the effort. The body warmth return is immediate putting it on with the sensation that it could almost misunderstood as active heating (electric vest).
No worries about being cold therefore. The last few days have been down to -9F with nothing getting through and no cold spots either.
I picked white which looks nice, but concerned about dirty salt and spilling items on it. Brushing up against the car makes for a dirty spot. Black might show this too. Great would be blaze orange or blaze camo, and I could have one for hunting! I froze last Nov in 4F weather after white tails. They are missing a niche but well-heeled market there.

got this the other day , arrived in perfect condition.
These CG parkas are truly one of the greats for the cold outdoors , zips ,pockets ( plenty of them ) are all in the right place , they do come a bit on the big size , measure yourself up properly before ordering .
Fantastic garment , does what it is designed for superbly.
Only down side if your like me , ordering from the a England ( GB) , customs import duty hit me for £144 ( not to be sneezed at ) but worth it as these are hard parkas to get hold of in the UK.
Go for it , get one , you won't regret it, and the service from these guys is second to none .
