I went through several pants trying to find something that withstands the work I do in the welding industry. These do exactly that! They're thick, comfortable, but most of all, durable. With 5 months of welding in these pants, I've yet to burn a entire hole through them in welding. Lots of burn marks, but these are thick enough to seriously ricochet sparks, flames, etc right off you.
