I use this when I go to the Adirondacks, or other places where it is required. My camping buddies and I can fit 3 people's food for 4-5 days in it, but we rarely bring Mountain House or other dehydrated foods because they take up to much space and have too much salt (acid reflux for days!). The Keg arrived on time. It is solidly built, and works as advertized. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to protect food and other goods from bears and actually, any animal.

First of all, bear canisters are absurd. That being said many places one wishes to camp require them because people don't know how to hang a bear bag. However, incompetence is not avoided by a bear can. Just this last weekend I saw a different brand bear can (the black one) opened by a fox in the Adirondacks.
