Heaven for your feet
I spent 18 months riding my bike half way around the world and had two other pairs of darn tough socks, but spent most of my time in these. In cooler weather I'd wear a thin knee high pair underneath.... These are without a doubt the best, most comfortable and durable socks I've ever owned. I will not buy any other brand of socks ever again... These cannot be improved on in any way.

My New Go-to
Ive used a variety of socks for training, hiking, and backpacking. My past favorite and go-to sock (from different brand) has now been replaced by these. Granted, I don't have a ton of miles on these but have been wearing them daily in preparation for PCT thru-hike for months now and feel I have enough perspective so as to highly recommend them for above-mentioned activities. I find myself wanting to wear them for casual use too but want to keep them 'fresh' for my hike. I can see myself getting 500+ miles on each pair when compared to other socks Ive used for years with same wool and synthetic %. I wear gaiters for most of the backpacking I do so the available colors don't matter since they're covered, but I wish Darn Tough would offer some lighter colors nonetheless, especially for us desert dwellers.
Pros:
- Thin, Rugged, Moisture-wicking
Cons:
- Dear Darn Tough, please offer lighter colors
Best Used for:
- Any Movement Practice

Very comfortable socks and good fit
Socks are very well made and comfortable. They are a good fit. Would recommend these socks to anyone looking for a good quality sock. I will purchase these socks again. Daily wear and feels good on my feet.

Great race socks
Great- thin for tighter shoes like cycling or race shoes for running races. For training I like the light cushion version better and I wear half size bigger shoe for training. Large fits well. I wear 11.5 steeet shoe and 12 in trainers

Great Wool Socks
I've never spent this much on a pair of socks, but, though my initial use is still limited I am impressed with the comfort and the moisture wicking. These aren't think or bulky which is perfect for warmer weather use. I'm anxious to see how they hold up over time from use and laundry. So far so good.

Good socks
Have three pair and really like them a lot. I run trails in GA and they do well in warm humid conditions. Also there is no irritation from material or seams.

Darn tough socks
Bought these for my 16 yo cross country son who is very ruff on socks. I have several pair of the Darn Tough socks and want to see how they hold up to his abuse. I really like mine and he likes his as well. We'll see how they hold up with him...

The best Socks
I've been using Darn Tough socks for over 10 years as a professional in the outdoor industry, for alpine rock climbs to multiweek expeditions, and recreationally mountain biking, running, tennis, motorcycling, and just living. They are the best, in terms of comfort, durability, breathability, and lack of stank. these lightweight ones are no different, great temperature range for highly active pursuits, fit snug but not restrictive, always come back to shape, never stretch out. Just don't loose em, cause if they ever wear out (which they probably won't unless you're an ultra runner) the company will send you a new pair!
