With a thin nylon/cotton sock(s) underneath these puppies,you can just about kiss cold feet away.Dredging through snow powder up to your knees has a tendency get your lower legs extremely cold.

Socks that don't shag down around your ankles are such a pleasure to wear if you do a lot walking and/or hiking.

Too tight to be comfortable

I am 5-10 and 182 lbs, wear a size 10.5 shoe, and bought size L socks. I put them on and immediately took them off because they are just too tight in the calfs. Sorry, but cannot recommend unless you are built like a string.
