Bought this backpack for my fiancee and will use it for our first backpacking. We like it and it has all the functions we want for our first trip. The back frame design works well for her and she likes it a lot!

Lots of storage

The Futura Vario 50 + 10 has huge amounts of storage, is light weight, and comfortable to wear. I am looking forward to using it this summer while camping with my son with Cub Scouts. I would highly recommend this backpack to anyone.

Excellent backpack with plenty of ventilation and air flow along your back. Well made and ordered the 70 liter Air Contact to add for my longer days out in the woods. Lightweight with plenty of compartments without being ridiculous.

Deuter Futura Vario 50 + 10 Backpacks is first time. I have osprey stratos 24. Futura Vario has 2 big side pocket and very light and durable. color is very unique. front zipper is very useful and soft and easy handling.

Well Engineered

This is my favorite for summer backpacking. The Aircomfort System keeps me so cool on hot days because of its messed back support and air ventilation on the sides and top. I'm generally rough on backpacks and I'm super impressed with how durable the mess is! Also, the front access zipper is my best friend. It lets me get right to the bottom of my pack without having to dig from the top, which is a life saver if you're as unorganized as I am!

Buy this pack.

Amazing fit! Adjust to your torso size. I have degenerative disk disease and this pack distributes weight in a way that puts little strain on my back. Three flaws: 1- the hole for the tube from the water bladder is only on one side; it needs to be on the middle or on both sides. 2-angled water bottle holders would be helpful so as to not have to take off the pack to get to the water bottles. 3-the pockets on the belt are too small for an iPhone. BUT the way this thing fits my back makes up for the flaws. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely buy this pack again because of the way it fits. The fit is why I give It 5 stars.
