Most Helpful Positive Review Great product - and so much more comfortable for our LO!
We were hiking with our LO using every day carriers and as she has gotten bigger, the back pain and tension increased. This pack sits so comfortable on your back/hips and makes it easier to keep hiking and complete your trail without dread. I love the chin and neck pillows so that the LO can easily ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Shoulder Strap Connection Failing!
Hi fellow hikers, This pack started off great. I found it to be the most comfortable out of all the high end child carrier backpacks. Fast forward three months and the point at which the should straps connect to the base of the backpack are failing!! I reached out to Deuter two weeks ago and haven’t...

Much More Comfortable Than a Previous Child Carrier I Owned

by CW760, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on May 26, 2020
This is the second child carrier backpack that I've owned. We purchased this when our toddler outgrew the last one. I wish we had just saved the money and purchased this carrier from the start. It is pricy, but it's so much more comfortable than the last pack we owned.

For your information, our toddler is 37" tall, weighs 32 lbs., and just turned three-years-old. She loved this pack. In the old pack, she sometimes wanted to get out. She enjoyed the entire hike in this thing and even wanted to "ride" in it. The side entry is something that I didn't consider necessary, but after using it, I really like it.

The design and build of this pack seems excellent. It's pretty easy to get on and off and as mentioned, the side entry makes loading a toddler a breeze. My only complaint so far (for which I will deduct ¼ of a star) is that the side pockets near the front are not large enough to hold an iPhone 11.

The built-in sun shade is awesome. It really protects the child and folds and zips up and away nicely when not in use. There is also plenty of storage in this pack for a typical day hike. We also purchased the 3.0L Deuter Streamer and that fit nicely into a pocket between the adult and child.

Definitely a pricy pack, but also definitely worth the price.

Amazing carrier!!!

We were debating between an Osprey carrier and this one and we are thrilled we went with the Deuter Kid Comfort Pro. I would recommend this carrier to anyone without hesitation. We both agree it’s comfortable to wear. I’m 5’5” and curvy, he’s 6’3” with a fit/active build. Easy to adjust to accommodate whoever is wearing the carrier. Our babes is 18mo, 27ish lbs and loves it! Takes all of a couple minutes to get baby in, make sure it’s all buckled up and adjusted properly and you’re good to go. Oh easily adjustable for baby too. Stitching is solid. Sunshade is easy to take out and put away. Tons of pockets and the extra pack is a bonus. Bigger than I expected actually. Seriously it’s comfy to wear. So excited to get a ton of use out of this. You won’t be disappointed with this one. Shipping was so fast too. Ordered it on Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday. THE NEXT DAY!!! I made sure it was IN STOCK and plenty of quantity available. Would totally do business again with CampSaver.
