I've been using the same locking biner with a gri gri for 25 years and not that it's been a big deal but often enough I look down to check and the biner is cross loaded. A while back I added a second gri gri for the gym with a different style locking biner but for consistency (safety) sake I wanted two of the same. I chose the DMM Ceros for the belay loop clip and the horn. Both features work perfectly to keep the biner and gri gri in place, no more looking down to find it cross loaded and no more having to flip it around taking focus away from the belay. It's a small thing but I like it. The belay loop clip is easier than expected to use so no big deal there getting it in and off the harness.
Pros:
Keeps belay device located where it belongs and eliminates cross loading.
Cons:
None so far.
