I got this to go with a Megajul Sport, and with a little use so far, it seems to work well. I got the locksafe model, and between the extra unlocking step, the keeper wire, and the horn, this thing will never, ever fall off my belay loop, drop the belay device, or get cross-loaded. I own several DMM carabiners, and I'm a huge fan of how smooth the twist gate closure feels on their models. This one is similar - solid construction, the gate closes exceptionally smoothly, and the "spring" at the bottom of the carabiner keeps things properly oriented on belay.

I use this with my Edelrid Mega Jul. This works great with that belay device. Simplistic and well built design. For the price this is a great locking carabiner. Can't wait to put this through more tests.

I've been using the same locking biner with a gri gri for 25 years and not that it's been a big deal but often enough I look down to check and the biner is cross loaded. A while back I added a second gri gri for the gym with a different style locking biner but for consistency (safety) sake I wanted two of the same. I chose the DMM Ceros for the belay loop clip and the horn. Bot... Read more
