Great ultralight offset nuts - DMM Peenut Set

These DMM Peenut offsets are great for free climbing as they are lightweight and easy to place. The sizes compliment the standard DMM offsets nicely and make a complete offset set. My only complaint is that the aluminum alloy they use is quite hard, harder than the standard set of DMM offsets, which means that it is harder to seat them properly in granite sometimes as they don't bite as well. Compared to the HB brass offsets the allow is much harder. This means they deform less and probably last longer but detracts a bit from their ease of placing. Overall I would still recommend and I tend to take these out more often than the HB brassies while free climbing.
Pros:
Lightweight
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
free climbing
Would Recommend:
Yes
