Mine was different from other Timberlines. It was entirely sand-colored. No green. No logo. It was from a long time ago.
I loved this tent, and it will be missed. It made it through the length of the Tonto Trail in the Grand Canyon, as well as numerous other treks there. You'll never have the lightest tent for backpacking - split the weight with a partner.
You'll never have the flashiest tent in camp - no built in lights, no front porch.
You'll never need to worry about getting wet, or having your tent fall down. Ever. Mine is over 20yrs old, and it's still waterproof. It kept me dry in a cyclone near miss outside Sydney. It opened enough to let cooling breezes in yet keep the sun off in Mali. I stayed warm in Greenland, and dry in Scotland. And in many, many a National and State park all over the place, it's kept me dry, warm, and sheltered against bugs, sun, rain and wind.
You'll find lighter, flashier, and larger tents. But you'll never find better, especially at this price.

My son recently crossed over to Boy Scouts and this is the "Troop Tent." After purchasing it I can see why. It has a classic design and is very simple to set up. It appears to be made of high quality materials and I imagine it will last many years.
