These shoes do run a bit small, but if you're like me and like the aggressive fit, then they are perfect (I went .5 size down from my street shoe size). These shoes are somewhat soft, but goodness do they edge well. Furthermore, after about 3 bouldering sessions they broke in and have been extremely comfortable since, though I do still take them off pretty often (Walking around in downturned shoes isn't the most comfy thing I've ever done).
I also absolutely love the heel. I have a low volume heel so shoes like the LS Solution tend to have a ton of dead space and slip off when pulling a really aggressive heel hook. I have never had an issue with a slipping heel cup in these shoes. I definitely recommend them!

I've climbed in a lot of different shoes and these are my favorite so far. The description on here is dated and is for the old style. The new style is the blue one. For size reference I wear a 9.5 in these and I wear a 9 in Anasazi Arrowhead. 8.5 in Anasazi VCS. 9.5 in Shamans. And 9.5 in the Hornets which are discontinued. This shoe is the perfect mixture for me of soft/sensitive and supportive. Much softer than either anasazi, shamans, or any sportiva shoe I've climbed in, but not as extreme as the hornets. I like softer shoes as they allow me to toe in harder and feel the rock better. They are also a bit more comfortable. The shoes don't stretch hardly at all. The shoes fit a bit wider in the forefoot than the arrowheads, which is perfect for me since I have a sorta wide foot. I think they may be the shoe I stick with after trying out so many different pairs.
