My wife and I own 2 Fjallraven parkas (Sinji) and are not only happy with them but are impressed. So I decided to get a lighter jacket/layer from Fjallraven as well. This is my favorite go to jacket just to throw on. Lightweight and warmer than most in its class I would say. It feels great on. My wife put it on and said I want one, so I got her one as well. Cannot speak on the longevity of Fjallraven yet, but they say they build to last. Our parkas seem very well made says the wife (seamstress) You can spend more and less but I believe this is the bang for your buck.
Pros:
warm
Lightweight - packable
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
great throw on jacket for anything
awesome mid layer
Would recommend: Yes

I love this brand, I love the jacket style and fit. I was disappointed buying it in black as it’s far from a true black. It’s actually much more blue. When worn with black pants and shirt it’s really apparent. I ended up having to return as it won’t match any of my other black clothing I wear over winter. Other Fjall Raven jackets don’t seem to have this issue.
Pros:
None
Cons:
Black
Would recommend: No

I got a pretty good deal thank you ! But it did have some faded marks ( as if the die didn’t set right on the sleeve) I’ve decided to keep it anyways. So I’ve always went small and fitted but needed to start sizing up .So it’s a bit long as I with most European sizing , the regular fit allows for layers or over a shell . The 700 fill is nice because you won’t over heat as with a 800 to 850 down fill . Due to its length it covers your body very well, Great for town and day hikes and maybe weekend backpacking. This is not a minimalist jacket. But what it lacks in stuff size it gains on is thicker shell and “ regular fit” opposed to a slim fit . It’s a great jacket could use a bit more down in the arms , well made and Stylish.
Pros:
Layering, coverage,Style
Cons:
Big in size and packing in bag
Would recommend: Yes
