A extremely beautiful looking jacket (which is why I bought it and I got a great deal, thank you) . 5,7 about 155 lb got a MD . You could go smaller but would limit the usefulness of a jacket, It’s synthetic and not down ,it made to put layers under it .because you can layer under it ,you can get a wider range of temperature. This is not light wight . Extremely detailed, classic parka look . A big and bulky jacket that that kept me so warm in 25 mph winds at 15 F while wearing a tuxedo under it. Love it ,amazing !
Pros:
- layering, Beautiful looking, warm

I bought this jacket for my son who walks to school and is always wandering the city with his friends. He's 5'10" and 140 lbs so the Small we ordered is a good fit with room for layering for any extreme cold. So far, he's been warm and comfortable and, for a kid who's never before cared about his clothes, likes the way it looks on him. The jacket, while warm, isn't too heavy to wear for hours of walking. The removable hood is very much appreciated as that's been my only complaint with the other Fjallraven jackets we own.
My experience ordering from Campsaver was excellent as the product was shipped immediately and actually arrived three days ahead of the original delivery date. I fully intend to keep coming back.

I love this jacket, it is a heavy duty winter jacket perfect for the current temperatures. It has tons of hidden button and zipper pockets that are perfect for stashing and storing anything you bring with you. I loved it so much I got my wife one for Christmas. I also really like that Fjallraven makes high quality gear that is environmentally friendly. Now I just need to figure out if I need to wax it using their Greenland wax product. You definitely wont regret buying this jacket. As for sizing, I wear a medium in most brands however in this jacket I did need to size down by one size and bought a small. For other Fjallraven gear, stay with what size you normally wear.

Incredibly happy with this jacket. Had been searching on & off for a year. Very glad I finally stumbled upon the Yupik. High quality, stylish, flexible & also feels very comfortable.
Others have mentioned that you should order a size down from what you normally wear & I can see why people have this idea. I don't agree though. It's simply a large parka. I ordered a large as a normally do with most of my clothing and am comfortable with the decision. It does look rather excessive on me but as mentioned, I think this is how it was designed to be worn. If I had of gone a size smaller, the arms would have been too short and it would not have sat correctly on my shoulders.
Also very happy I ordered through campsaver. Price compared very favorably to all other options & it was received in Australia within a few days.
Could not be happier.

It's June in Texas, so I haven't been able to test the warmth of the parka, but it seems to be constructed very well. There are many pockets and good hood adjustments. The hood is retained against the back of the parka when not in use, so it doesn't bunch up or flap around. I wear an XL in all other Fjallraven shirts and jackets, but ordered a large parka based on the reviews. I don't like tight clothing, and the large is just about right with plenty of room for base and mid layers, although I can't imagine needing both where I live. The price was already heavily discounted, plus I had a code for an additional discount on top of that, so I got this at a great price through CampSaver. I'm 5'10", 210lbs with a 45" chest. The parka replaced a North Face MCMURDO PARKA. That NF jacket lasted over 10 years and was worn when it was really cold in NYC and NJ. This coat is more stylish, but not as warm. Which is probably better for me, because I can wear it more. Climate change is making the winter season not as cold and snowy here so far. Another set of hand pockets like NF and pockets that hold the iPhone 6S Plus would be a nice addition. Really happy with the coat otherwise. Bought the coat on sale (saved about $200 end of season) and I think it is a good value at that price. When you compare it to Canada Goose it is a no brainer.

Jacket was great and I used it almost daily for ski practice (we commonly get winds over 60mph on the hill). It got wet during a race and needed to be dried, so did my speed suit. Pulled it out of the drier (tumble dry low) and it had huge melted rips. But my delicate speed suit was fine. sucks to have paid $500 and only gotten two months of functionality. And Fjallraven's customer support has been unresponsive to multiple inquiries.

I can't blame Fjallraven, this is a great jacket, but Campsaver sent me a jacket that didn't look like what was in the picture....too much of a hassle to send it back, gonna live with it, won't be ordering from Campsaver again!!!
