This saves me carrying a water filter on the trail, I combine this with a SiltStopper above it on the line and I am set. I carry Aquamira drops as a backup. I really like the peace of mind knowing that it can filter virus when I am in South America and Asia. Combined with the Geigerrig 3 L Hydration Engine I basically have potable water on demand.
