Worse than anything I ever seen Made in China. Disappointed at the quality. Don't waste the money. The one I received was dent, scratch, and bad coating finish. The sharp edge can really cut myself if I don't pay attention.

Great kettle. Works great!

Quality is fairly good, which you don't think of for products manufactured in the UK, although the anodizing was chipped off on on edge of spout when I unpacked it.

I have tested it a few times. Some reviews complain about leakage at rivets, but I didn't have any of that. The instructions tell you to test it once and discard the water. I did that and there was some white residue inside after I discarded the first boil, some of which I could stick my finger in and wipe off. I have done 2 more boils and discarded the water, and I think that is most of the white stuff. I think the white stuff might be a sealer for the seams and rivets.

Overall, it works pretty good, although not quite as fast as some people say to expect. It does have to be fed a little since the materials first used when lighting it don't seem to be quite enough to get it to boil, and it needs a little more. Put the additional fuel in too soon, or too late, and it goes out.

Got one for myself, the whistling cap and anodized finish were clinchers over similar kettles. Loved it from the first use, making coffee and tea for everyone on a fishing outing. Very handy for camping w/dehydrated and freeze dried foods, as well as hot beverages and washing up. Really impressed by the speed, and how little fuel is needed--literally a handful of sticks will do it. Comforting

No need for speccial fuel or need to pack fuel. Fuel is in the field everywhere.
