I was impressed on how much stress this pack took off my shoulders. It truly put the weight on my hips. I did a 9 mile loop hike. Had 28lbs in it. Extremely comfortable. Trying to build up weight after an injury. I like the deep elastic pocket on left side and sinch bottle packet on the right. I will just need to get used to where I've put things in a new pack. Love it!!

I've used this on a handful of trips and it fits well and is comfortable. I'm 5'5" and 135lbs for reference. It has many cool features like the tilted water bottle pocket and included rain fly. It has held up well on several international flights.

Speechless on the performance for the abckpack. The suspicion system is incredible. I was having the low back issue. With this backpack, I don’t have worry about the hiking trip. It is perfect backpack.

This is a really high quality pack with a lot of fantastic details and appealing materials but the shoulder straps are way too wide at the area where they need to curve under the arms. This would definitely lead to some serious discomfort when hiking with it on. Perhaps not an issue for flatter chested women. I ordered a size medium as I am a size 18 torso but in order for the pack to sit correctly on the hip bones and the shoulder height to leave no gaps, a size small for a size 18 is probably more fitting. However, the hip belt on the medium just barely covered my hips and wasn't super comfortable on my size 36" hips. Because of these fit issues, I have to return the back. Very sad too as this is the best set-up I've seen as far as being able to use and reach a water bottle, hip belt pockets, pack pockets and organization, materials, colors and construction. Heavy but nice that is does include the rain cover and if it fit, probably worth the weight.

This pack will always be a staple with me. I'm a short woman with a short 14" torso and I love that there is a true XS option! Unlike many adjustable packs with a broad range of torso lengths in a single size, Gregory keeps the torso sizing precise and extends the pack outward and in width. This keeps the pack from riding too high on your back. (I've used packs that adjust to my torso length but r

I used the Deva 70 backpacking with my husband in GNP, MT for 4 days/3 nights in September. Comfort: I really liked the APS system. It was highly adjustable for various fits, which is good since the belt wore sore spots on my hip bones. Adjustments to the shoulder straps to elevate the hipbelt alleviated the problem. Another pro: the hipbelt is removable, so you can purchase one that fits. Ad

I previously purchased another gregory pack that was not a women's specific pack. I couldn't get the straps comfortable. This pack was much better, the form of the straps just fits more comfortably over a female frame. Some of the other reviews had suggested the pack was difficult to put on independently when full, but I have had no trouble. The accessibility ports throughout the pack are grea

It's a very comfortable bag to wear, lots of padding.
Make sure you try it on in store to get the right size, and then buy it online.. that's what I did.
The back support feels great.

I am using this pack to go on a 7-week trek in South America, and it is perfect! The spacious main compartment, lots of smaller ones, and comfortable too! It was difficult to find a pack that fit my small frame (5'2"), but this one is great!
