Amazingly light
This is a cooking kettle, not just for boiling water- One liter is a large main meal for three people- The weight knocks out the need for titanium - The wide base catches the flame pattern of any type of stove for a much faster boil- Also the squat design makes the center of gravity lower on a stove making it much more stable and less wobbly than the taller narrower pots- Save more weight, remove the SS handle and replace with picture hanging wire-

Excellent Lightweight Mini Kettle
Originally bought this for car camping/backpacking but have ended up using it mostly at home for daily water boiling on an electric range to make tea; instant coffee, cocoa, & soup, etc. Holds and quickly boils just the right amount for 2 typical cup-fuls (1 or 2 people). Handle and pour spout work well. Can hear it's boiling from a distance because lid lifts off partway and makes clattering noise

Great Kettle
Gotta have my coffee.... That's why I got this. So far I've used it with both canister and alcohol stoves. I did notice a slight amount of warpage after using the canister stove, so be careful if you choose this route. Don't boil your water full blast. But you will get FAST boils times using this method. I wouldn't recommend putting this kettle in a fire. That could spell trouble.

GSI 1qt Kettle
This kettle was the right capacity (one quart) for the French press coffee maker that I have. Simple design and it packs well.
