Great for a large group

I recently went backpacking with my family and this is the cook set that we used. If you took the whole set it would be heavy, but the beauty of this set is that you can leave what you don't need behind. By doing this the set is very versatile. Use it for car camping by taking it all or pare it down for backpacking with a group. The nonstick surface makes it very easy to clean. I only wish it was a little lighter.

Great flex system

I purchased the GSI Gourmet Nesting Mug & Bowls with the four piece Bugaboo Gourmet Plate Set and GSI Ultralight Telescoping Foons to expand the capacity for base camp group feeding of my GSI Bugaboo Camper Cook Set combined with the GSI Bugaboo Base Camp Set in Large.

Control The Heat

This set is really great in that it has everything right together. The set is well made but it has plastic lids, is not reccommended for use with a campfire and is to be used only with a camp stove. The plastic lids are well made but not great in that you really have to control the heat and the lid cannot be used when frying.
