If you took the whole set it would be heavy, but the beauty of this set is that you can leave what you don't need behind. By doing this the set is very versatile. This set is really great in that it has everything right together. The set is well made but it has plastic lids, is not reccommended for use with a campfire and is to be used only with a camp stove. The plastic lids are well made but not great in that you really have to control the heat and the lid cannot be used when frying.
