Lightweight and Ideal for Minimalist

by Chris N., Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on June 8, 2016
The duelist cook system works great if used over a small propane camp stove. It could also work over an open fire but removal of the lid and handle would be necessary (so you don’t melt any of the plastic).

I used this product while camping with my brother. It boiled water extremely fast. When adding dehydrated soups and other foods, the cook set provided plenty for both of us to eat.

Pinnacle Dualist Cook System

by Ernest L., Written on April 20, 2015
Nice cook-set but somewhat expensive. Very well built. The utensils are fairly thin but I haven't broke one yet. Being able to separate the bowls makes the set good for four persons if necessary. I am able to store my 230g fuel canister, lighter and utensils but could not get even my smallest stove inside. To compensate I just put the set in a dry sack and put my dish towel and stove on top and closed the dry sack. It's still nice and compact and fits well in my 65L backpack.

Now own both the Dualist and the Soloist and both products are excellent. You won’t regret owning it.

Awesome backpacking set

by Tyler K., from CA, United States Written on December 25, 2014
This thing has been awesome in the short time I've owned it. Fits nicely even in my day pack for a hot lunch on the peak. Fits a pocket rocket, fuel can, two bowls and 2 spoons easily. Love it

Great design!

by Just getting st, Written on December 12, 2013
I used the cook system on a backpack trip in October in Michigan. I love the design which includes room for my single burner. The only issues I had were that the cups make great bowls, but the shape is a little clumsy for cups and the sporks are flimsy. Next trip I will pack an extra cup and will not take the sporks, but overall I loved it.

Overall pretty good

by blueklister, Written on September 10, 2013
Well designed except for the silicon lid gasket -- it constantly comes off of the lid. I bought three of Dualists and it happens to all of them. It would have been better to simply mold a lip into the lid, like on their Sololist (which I also own.) I'm going to try to glue the gaskets on.

Great for 2

by defrag4, Written on September 10, 2011
This thing is great when hiking for 2, although it is a bit heavy. I love the nesting and it holds my gigapower stove inside, everything you need to grub on the trail
