Super comfortable, great service
I have a bunion on my left foot. I buy shoes with big toe boxes and apply a shoe stretcher (the cast iron ball-and-ring type) but a couple of years ago I had to give up my old hiking boots when they couldn't be stretched to fit. Happily I discovered these wonderful shoes! I wore them for a six-mile walk through a local state park yesterday and have zero foot pain! Construction is of the highest quality. Fit is accurate - the box says US12 UK11 EU 46, and they fit like my other US12/EU46.5 shoes. The non-bunion right foot is fine - the shoes have normal fit through the heel and instep and hold ...

Too Light
A very well made boot made of soft leather which would quickly conform to one's anatomy. No discernible bunion pocket. A great boot for walking grassy paths or smooth trails as the sole is too thin for for anything much rougher. I returned them.

Hanwag Altas fit like a glove
I have big feet and bunions so it is really hard to find boots and shoes that fit. I'm right between a 13 and 14 and ordered the Altas in US 13 as that's the biggest size I could find. I was worried they would not fit but right out of the box they felt like they were custom made for my feet. These are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever put on! In addition, the boots are functional and nice looking - I bought the black ones. I would buy two more pair if I could find them. I'm hoping Campsaver can get more in in my size.
