Ummm, Really good boots!

These boots fit true to size with minimal break-in required. They are very comfortable and have a great lug sole. Contrary to the other review; however, they are not abnormally heavy. I know this because I have many pairs of hiking boots that ARE heavy! There are probably only two potential 'cons' to these boots. One - they aren't waterproof, but I suppose since they are labeled as a 'casual' boot, that shouldn't really be a 'con'. The other might be price, as they could be considered a bit spendy to some people out there. But Campsaver tends to have 20% off sales multiple times per year, so that helps in that regard. Great Hanwag quality shows in these boots.

When Hanwag claims that their boots are comfortable out of the box, they are not joking around. These boots were instantly comfortable and continue to feel even better the more that I wear them. I was able to wear them all day after opening them without any issues. Not only are they comfortable, they feel durable. The traction is great. The leather is incredibly soft. And they look awesome with a dark pair of jeans.

I could not be more satisfied with these boots.
