I have been impressed with the quality, versatility, and security offered by the Soulo. The livability within the shelter seems better than I expected, not being able to infect the tent before buying one; interior space seems to be greater than what was apparent online. This is the only shelter I have which is both freestanding and has a relatively large integral, covered vestibule. The availability of accessories such as a mesh inner tent, spare poles, and footprint are welcome; I will comment regarding the footprint separately.

Easy Setup and keep warm but I feel it is still heavy. I hope it will reduce to 3 lb around. Consider the price of the tent, it should be light weight and with strong poles as well. As we do alpine climbing, light weight and strong both important.

This is an awesome tent. I bought this for a trip to Iceland this summer, because I need something that can stand up to very strong wind. This is going to work perfect!

these tent rock. if dug in well they are bomb prof. just check out Lonnie dupre soloing Denali in January. warmer weather and this tent played a part in getting to the summit of the worlds coldest mountain
