First I'll say that these shoes certainly are comfortable on my feet. Unfortunately within a few weeks of casual wear, a section of one sole came off. I contacted Hoka right away with photos of the defect. Their response was that I needed to ship the shoes to them at my cost, and after inspection they might get me some replacement shoes after a month. A dozen robotic emails later they had changed their tune only slightly in that they would do me the one-time courtesy of a prepaid shipping label. They never seemed to understand my repeated explanations that I can't go to work in socks...

I wish there was room here to post the whole exchange as it's some funny reading, but my faith in the brand( now under the Deckers Brand) has taken a big hit. One of the emails told me to look for my Ugg boots in the bushes because the delivery men sometimes hide them there. (No I did not order any Ugg boots)

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have erver owned. They are great for walking. I bought a have size bigger and the fit perfect. I would recommend them for anyone who is on there feet a lot.

I bought these for my son who is big and tall. He is on his feet for work throughout the whole shift. He has always had difficulty with achy knees and feet. These shoes are awesome and helps to take the aches and pain away.
