The instruction sheet had extremely confusing pictures trying to cover too much information in each picture. The written instructions seemed to have incorrect information. The picture and instuctions say you should pack the can without the supplied bag. I did this and it resulted in scratching the cooking can. I can't imagine how scratched it would get hiking without the protective bag. Also it says and shows that the seperate/optional/included pot ring will pack in the can. It will not...the silicon lid will not snap in place with this option. Since the silicon lid barely engages with the pot...it may need to be secured with a rubber band.....yet to be determined.
I've contacted Jetboil for help in these issues. I think with a rewrite of the instructions...this little hummer would be a less frustrating purchase. I think I'll love it as a replacement to my 30 year old MSR whisperlite...
Pros:
- compact, sealed fuel can, stable
Cons:
- instructions/packing down
- instructions/packing down.

One of my favorite purchases without question. This boils water and the adjustable burner is awesome for cooking pasta which makes this way more versatile for cooking a wide variety of meals on the go.

In honesty, I have yet to use my Jetboil MiniMo. After much research I decided this was the stove for me. Buying the product through Campsaver during its Labor Day sale meant paying less than anywhere else online. The only reason I give it 4 instead of five stars is that the listing indicates that it includes a fuel can stabilizer, which mine did not.

Used this minimo on a weekend camping. Boiling water was so easy and fast! Cooking noodle soup too. The only thing was when the water boils, it spilled over the pot and flame partially burned the plastic base. I wish i could still return this and exchange for a same style.

The MiniMo cooking system is very reliable and very useful. I am continually impressed with how fast this stove brings water to a rapid boil!

Got this as a Christmas gift. This camp stove will be an added welcome to my gear. It's compact and powerful. Lights easily and the flame adjusts nicely. Got the French press coffee maker and it made a great pot of brew.

I you have power; a person requires four things. A refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster oven and water. Without power; a MiniMo, MH Freeze Dried, bottled water and Jameson. Lemon, cloves and honey, a bonus.

Due to age and health, I limit my outings to 1 day. I use the Jetboil MiniMo due to its size and versatility. The simmer control does the job. The MiniMo is used for both outings and disaster preparedness such as Hurricane Matthew. Being without power for a day and half, the MiniMo and MH Freeze Dried Packs allowed almost normal functioning. The MiniMo also provides the heat to an end of day hot toddy.
