Most Helpful Positive Review Good, but you need to know a few things.
These are great trekking poles, though they will rub you raw the first trip you take them on. My hands are rough and tough but they still got a few blisters from these the first trip I took them on. The reason being in the cork on the handle, you need to get these sweaty and dirty before the true awesomeness of these poles can be found. Other then that you shouldn't have any issues.

Budget option but

by Renegade, Verified Owner from DE, United States Written on November 29, 2021
In general, everything is okay. Cheap. Qualitatively relative. And easy. But in the first hike through the mountains. It was enough just not to hit them hard when falling as the mechanism stopped working and the sticks do not close completely. Not sure it's my fault. After all, the blow was without significant external damage. But now the stick, though it opens and does not hide completely.
Pros:
  • Price
  • weight
  • format
Cons:
  • life
Best Used for:
  • HIKING

Very good especially for beginners

by AHA, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on April 26, 2020
Always wanted to own poles for hiking and considering all factors, a very good buy. I will be using these few more times before sealing my positive feedback but I have a feeling that nothing will change.

Great poles, great price

by Triagain, from IN, United States Written on July 27, 2018
Quality trekking poles at a great price! Plan on using them to help climb some fourteeners next month.
Adjustable to many heights. Baskets and tip covers included. I could have used these on our Machu Picchu trek, tip covers required in Machu Picchu.

Kelty Trekking Poles

by MathHikeMusic, from WA, United States Written on May 19, 2018
These things are Inexpensive, lightweight, sturdy, and easy to use. Awesome twist lock mechanism makes for easy adjustment of poles. I couldn’t justify spending another hundred dollars to get something 6 ounces lighter. These do just what they’re supposed to which is hold up a shelter and support my back and legs on a hike.

Great Deal

by Gennadiy, Verified Owner from DE, United States Written on May 9, 2018
I am using these in fairly deep snow and on ice. Have used 2 top brands and a few cheaper, before these. The others, I found to be kind of weak in comparison. Shocks effective and the poles strong. I trust these more than I expected, and more than anything I have tried. Last yr. I fell using a far more expensive pole, and one broke as I fell. Have so far used the Kelty on moderate hills, chunky ground, icy roads, and snow. I put auxillary snow baskets on these, and liked them. These are making the difference for me to really pleasure hike around the woods. A tad heavier than some, but the strength is worth it.

Good Trekking Poles

by JohnC, from AL, United States Written on April 5, 2018
These trekking poles have a previous green colored version that is still being sold and a newer orange color version. We purchased the previous version about 5 years ago and purchased this new version as additional poles. It says something that, after researching the features and functions of the currently available trekking poles prior to this purchase, we chose these poles again. We like the ease of adjusting the length of the poles, the cork grips, and the ease of adjusting the strap length.

A Solid Entry-level pole.

by brionifitch, from WA, United States Written on January 21, 2018
They're not the lightest or most compact but definitely a workhorse of trekking poles. The anti-shock feature is nice and the wrist straps and cork handles are nice and comfortable. For the price I don't think they can be beat!

Great product

by Liron, Verified Owner from Israel Written on January 16, 2018
The polls are comfortable with great grip.
Went hiking with them on different terrains - mud, rock and trails and they preform well.
Even after a full walking day, my arms didn't sore - so even if they are not the lightest, they are still very good.

For the price, it's definitely a very good choice!
Pros:
  • Price
  • DURABILITY
  • Grip
Cons:
  • not the lightest you can find
Best Used for:
  • HIKING
  • tracking

Perfect for the price

by ToTheTop, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on September 11, 2017
You really can't get a better deal on a solid pair of poles. When you'll most likely be using them for several hours at a time, comfort on your hands is essential. I chose these poles for the grip and the price. Definitely worth it.
