I have owned close to 50 tents in my life of 53 years. This was by far the easiest to set up. I like the double doors. The fact that is easy to pack and lightweight. Also found that it dries quickly, handy for those of us who like to get going before the dew is off the ground. I purchased the TN3 so that my hubby can also fit when camping with me. So plenty of room by myself with all the gear. Great purchase and Campsaver has this at a perfect price.
Cons:
- Could have used 4 more kelty stakes for rain fly

I really like the tent, however it isn’t super obvious which way to put the fly so it took me longer than I’d like to figure out the first time. I’m sure I will eventually get used to how to do it more quickly. Also, I wish it came with a footprint. Most tents seem to have one included. Otherwise, great tent, great price, very roomy and lightweight. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the rectangular folding, but it’s fine. Rolling is a bit easier but again, I will get used to how to fold the tent efficiently. Thanks!

It's common knowledge in the industry that when a company says "3 person" they really mean "2"...and the Kelty is no exception. It's super light, easy and intuitive to erect and loaded with features. Get tye footprint as well because the lightness comes at the cost of some thin flooring (but hey, that's the price of UL). Unlike other brands it's actually easy to put the TN3 back into the packing bags and the rectangular "parcel" shape makes it easy to slide into your bag. You can also easily divide the inner, fly and poles to lighten the load even more amongst a couple. The only caveat is if you are over 6 foot tall you WILL be hard up against the head and foot of the tent.

Nice tent, great views from in side, love the short poles for packing in pack, 2 doors & vestibules are great. Wish it came with a removable gear loft instead of no gear loft. Could also have a bit bigger pockets but over all a great tent.

Have used for a solid week. It came through heavy rain, significant winds and was easy to set up - in the rain as well as take down. The only thing missing are tie outs on the front and back. I added cording to the loops provided so I could stake then out further which protected the bottom of the tent better in the rain. Lots of room,

Set it up in the backyard, it came with step-by-step instructions. Also the poles on the tent were color coded. The tent was easy to set up overall. The two door construction is a great idea, especially if you get caught in the rain. I think the best design factor of the tent is the star gazing roof. Can't wait to use it! Also, the rain fly is designed to quickly come up or down while your inside the tent. This may take some practice, as my arms and fingers are small.

This is a very nice tent. The clips that secure the tent to the poles are unique...easy! Fly rolls back for star gazing or venting, another cool feature. Color coded poles & fly so you set it up right, but it can be a challenge the first time if your not paying attention. Set it up in your yard before you take it camping. I am picky about tents, and I really am happy with this one.

Stoked about this tent! Definitely fits my needs for backpacking. I went with the 3 person to have a little extra elbow room for me and whoever else joins. I like that the tent packs up into a square shape instead of a round bag. Makes packing it into my pack a little easier.
