Most Helpful Negative Review Was hoping for more
I recently used the Static V Lite for a week in the Sierra Nevadas and it was fine but I was hoping for more. It's light and compact but it's already losing a little air overnight, and I'm only 150 lbs. The bag has a built in repair kit. At first observation one might think this is fantastic for emergencies, but now I'm wondering if it was built in because it may not last. I do understand that there is always a small defect rate and I could have just gotten 'lucky' or unlucky in that respect. Other than that the pad was comfortable once I found the proper inflation for my personal taste.

The one you should buy

I couldn't be happier with this for the price. Super lightweight, easy to inflate, and quickly deflates. Ive heard rumors that this valve leaks but I haven't had any issues knock on wood. Looking forward to putting it through its paces.

Great sleeping pad

I have been using foam sleeping pad for years but now I am using this mat for several last hiking.
IT IS GREAT
Good sleep is vital important during hiking nights, so this thing is for it!
This mat + pillow and you feel like in your bad.
Lite version is really lightweight, approximately 550 g
R value is 4.4 so it keeps you warm.
What should you expect more from sleeping pad?
Highly recommended.

Great pad for backpacking. Comfortable, compresses down to almost nothing and affordable! Quieter, more comfortable and cheaper than Thermarest.

Super comfortable, allows me to sleep on my side without pain.

Easy to fill and easy to deflate. I would look up the manufactures suggestions on deflating and packing.

looking forward to using it

Although I have not had a chance to use it yet, it inflates easily as advertised. I was satisfied with the time it took to put it away back in its bag. it also felt comfortable even when on my side. So far I’m a happy camper with this purchase.

Seems Good

Might be five stars but have not had a chance to use it yet. Seems well made and easy to inflate. I used a compacter trash bag with a small hole in the corner stretched over the air valve to inflate it. It only took rolling the bag down (with air in it) 3 times to inflate it. Seems comfortable but have only been on it on the floor.

Static V insul lite

I used the Static V pad for the first time last weekend. Impressed by how quickly it inflated. I never felt the roots we set the tent up on top of. Very comfortable!
It did make some weirdly loud squeaks as I shifted around, I think as the pad rubbed against the tent floor.

very comfortable

I have neck and upper back problems. Tried an 8 inch inflatable mattress and still hurt. Unpacked this thing on the floor and tried it. I DID NOT WANT TO GET UP!
Took 20 medium breaths to fully inflate. I was comfortable on my back without a pillow. I am a side sleeper and could not feel the floor through this pad.

Now i just need to find a pillow!
