I've had and used many backpacking stoves. As a canister stove, this is very lightweight, stable with even larger pots, and easy to use, allowing one to simmer: it's not for just boilling water. Also, it's easy to set up, and because the canister is set apart from the burner, one may use a wind shield without fear of blowing up the stove. Lastly, one can invert the canister in cold weather.

Cons:
- Seems that it needs protection when packed in backpack.
Best Used for:
- backpacking or any outdoor activities
- Backpacking or camping in general
