Money Well Spent

You know the adage “you get what you pay for”? In its defense I offer these pants as “exhibit A”. I needed something a little more technical than I had for a weeklong hiking trip to Iceland; something that could handle wind, snow, and rain in a nice lightweight package. Yeah, they’re expensive. But they delivered, too. Well designed, super-comfortable, and with room to layer without looking like a marshmallow. Oh, and in case you wander into town for a shot of Brennivin, they look pretty great too.

Kuhl desroyer the competition

I use these as my at camp pants when the hike is done the sun drops and so does the temperature. They are super comfy they block wind and in extream cold (20°<) with a base layer on will keep warm. I have used them for 3 years now and on 5 backcountry 6 night backpacking trips. Locations like colorado rockies NP, olympic NP, Smoky mountain NP Zion NP and the Everglades NP And not only do they still perform like new but they still look like new. Warm, comfortable unsurpassed quality.
Best Used for:
  • Anytime you need to put on pants

No actual use experience but looks nice

I have ordered this pant in 32 waist and 34 inseam for a 6'2" 190# guy with a rather athletic build. Unfortunately, the pant was a bit tight both on my waist and on my thighs. I was keen to return it for replacement with 33 waist hoping that it would be looser on the legs too, but sadly Campsaver did not have that size in stock. So I had no other options than returning the pant.

Perfect

I bought these for my husband (he's very particular about his gear). They are the perfect fit for someone with more muscular legs and a great weight for cooler weather without being too warm. He loves them!
