I visited REI and (as well as other places) and viewed and tried on several different rain jackets. This one, far and away, was best. REI did not have my size in stock, btw, and their brick and mortar price, which I appreciate and respect, was higher. Other good-brand jackets, in comparison, felt like plastic bags, or like rubber. This one is lightweight, compliant to body movements, fits well, even folds into its own pocket. Pockets are plentiful (for a rain jacket). Couldn't ask for much else, other than maybe a small piece of velcro so that the brim of the very protective hood might be folded inward and then remain in its smaller format when you are in less than a downpour. I can add that one feature myself. Great jacket. Good price at campsaver. Did take a little long to get delivered. Worth the wait.
