Most Helpful Positive Review The T-Rex of Shoes
The La Sportiva Ultra Raptors are the king of their genre. The support in the shoe is phenomenal. The grip, like strong sharp claws. The breathability is unsurpassed. They feel like dinosaur shaped clouds in the sky when you wear them. The only caveat is they run a tiny bit small so order a half size larger. I did and they fit perfectly with plenty of room for the toes to splay out and not be crushed in like sardines. The shoes eat up ground like a T-Rex eats up meat, with great speed. perfect design and durable. I had looked for fashionable and useful running shoes. This ultra raptor is answer for me. I recommand it and gurantee light weight , also durable
outsole. I love it. If there is another color, I will buy it again.

Comfortable and durable

I'm about to buy my second pair. These have been great shoes, very comfortable for my feet, and bumper protection where needed. There are lighter shoes, but these offer more protection under foot on rocks and have been more durable than the Hokas and the Merrells I had before. Definitely order these a little bigger than your normal size. I usually wear a 43, these fit in a 44. La Sportiva: make a quieter-looking version!

Great hiking shoe

Glad I followed advice, definitely order 1/2 size larger. Great shoe, grippy, comfortable, fairly light and seemingly extremely durable. Would buy again. I have the wildcats also and they are similar.

Shoes were narrow

I do not normally have to buy wide shoes but these shoes were narrower than normal. European Shoes have a tendency towards the narrow side but when i read the other reviews true to size seemed to be the general review for sizing. Hopefully they will stretch out over some time.

Very Disappointing

I was really excited about these when I first got them. The right shoe quickly developed a slight bulge in the forefoot that became very uncomfortable when wearing the shoes all day. One trip into the Tetons completely shredded the soles, and I'm normally pretty easy on shoes. I had high hopes for these but they were totally disappointing. Maybe mine had a defect but the durability was less than expected for a trail shoe.

I like 'em

I usually have to wear a size 13 that is too big, but size 12 is too short so I compromise most of the time. These shoes run smaller so this 13 is a great fit for me.

The quality is very good and tread was good on the trail I run.

Great for hiking in water

I recently purchased these shoes for a backpacking trip down Coyote Gulch near Escalante Utah. I wanted a shoe that would give me foot support while carrying a backpack as well as being able to dry quickly, drain water well and keep rocks out as I was mostly hiking in ankle deep water. These shoes satisfied all of these requirements and I am glad I purchased them for the trip. They gripped quit
