Wanderfreund Trekking Pole
I ordered this pole because I enjoy hiking but am an older man who has been broken a number of times in a number of places. I have no difficulty going up but downhill is a real issue, and doing one without the other is hard.
The pole does what I wanted it to do, provides balance and support when needed yet be light enough to ignore when not needed.
I would buy another if something happened to this one.

This is a great exercise walking pole.
I have been reading about the Leki Wanderfruend trekking pole for some time now. I've used cheaper poles for a year. This pole finally isn't over priced in my opinion. At the price at Campsaver I bought 2 of this pole to exercise walk.

Another fine Leki product
I was very happy to find this Wanderfreund as I heard that this model might not be available anymore. I have used one for many years and many travels and it is starting to look like it. I spotted the CampSaver listing online and was very pleased with their very prompt service and fair pricing.

Wanderfreund Antishock Trekking Pole Review
My one concern is with the instructions for extending / collapsing the pole; they are virtually non-existent.
- You collapse or extend the pole sections by first twisting the pole to loosen or tighten. Either take a lot of twisting.
- Do not extend the pole sections beyond the hard-to-see "STOP" line (the pole will come apart and is somewhat difficult to put together again.)
Otherwise, it's a good, useful pole at a good price.
