GraceGirlColorado's Review of Lems Boulder Camp Boot - Mens
Super light weight. They feel like moccasins once they get more broke in. I've been wearing them to work everyday to get them broke in and feet/legs used to them. I'm about a week in and they are getting much softer, not that they feel stiff even out of the box. I just had a old pair that's a bit too small so I can tell the difference. I'm wearing them with shorts and no show socks right now. Looks cute and it's plenty soft around the ankles with no rubbing. I don't know about winter and snow. The leather model would most likely be better. I plan to get a leather pair later just because they are so cute! I had problems with sizing. If you are unsure just order both sizes since Campsaver has free shipping and free returns. My husband got the Timber they are awesome and I got the Brown. I equally like both color combos. I bet the Buckeye would be super cute too. They aren't waterproof but that's really not what they are designed for. I'm super happy and plan to get more. On a side note...my husband pulled a tendon on the bottom of his foot about 4 months ago while sprinting. He has been limping around in his Nikes since then getting up every morning with a tender foot or anytime he was off of it, it would be tight when he stepped on it again. He was really hesitant about the minimalist approach thinking he needed padding. Since he got them he's been wearing the Boulders every day (2 weeks now). His foot is getting better everyday now and we stand and work on concrete for 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week.
Pros:
Light weight
Very comfy once broken in
nice colors
Cons:
Not Sure About Snow
Not Waterproof
Best Used for:
Three season outdoor activities
Would Recommend:
Yes
